Indian e-Visa (eTA)
An application for e-Visa must be made at least four calendar days in advance of the date of arrival and can be made as early as 120 days in advance. The visa is valid for 60 calendar days from the date of arrival, and can be obtained twice in a calendar year.Double entry is permitted on e-Tourist Visa and e-Business Visa. Triple entry is permitted on e-Medical Visa. The duration of stay cannot be extendedThe e-Visa Service is available for International Travelers who want to visit India. e-Visa must be obtained prior to travel, the Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) (authority to enter India) is obtained electronically and emailed to you.With India e-Visa, there is no need of submission of original passport, any other original documents
e-TA Eligibility
Applicants are allowed two eTA visas per calendar year
People, who are travelling to India for casual visit i.e. tourism, sightseeing, casual business meeting friends or family, short duration, medical treatment, including Ayurvedic (herbal) and yoga, can apply for the e-Tourist visa.
Applications form can be submitted online or by post
Passport should have at least six months validity from the date of arrival in India.
The passport should contain at least two blank pages.
Applicants require return tickets or onward journey ticket, with adequate amount money for their stay in India
