Apply for Indian e-Tourist Visa

E-visa(eTV) is for International tourists whose sole objective of visiting India is for tourism i.e., sightseeing, meet friends or relatives, short period of medical treatment or casual business visit. Travellers can apply for e-tourist visa, from the list of countries available below. E-tourist Visa (eTV) visa must be obtained prior to travel to India. Once submitted the e-Visa (eTV) approval document (authority to enter India) is obtained electronically and emailed to you. With the India e-Visa service, there is no need of submission of original passport, any other original documents.

Applicants can apply online within 30 days before your travel date up to 4 days before the date of arrival. Please note that this is a single entry visa which is valid for 30 days from the date of arrival and can only be issued twice in a year.

Eligibility of e-Tourist visa Those, who are travelling to India for casual visits such as, tourism, sightseeing, casual business meeting friends or family, short period, medical treatment, including Ayurvedic (herbal) and yoga, casual business trip, can apply for the e-Tourist visa (eTV).

Passport should be valid for six months from the date of arrival in India furthermore must contain at least two blank pages.

You will require return tickets or ticket for onward journey, with adequate amount money for your stay in India Not available for travellers holding Pakistani Passport or people of Pakistani origin can apply for regular Visa.
